Beautiful Brand New Day – 7:40 AM

It’s a brand new morning with a brand new sky and a brand new sunrise! It’s going to be a great day with God! It’s a bit nippy and quite windy…the Spirit of God is moving like crazy! Holy Spirit….fall fresh on me. This is the air I breathe!

Father,

Thank you for my senses…that I can smell fresh brewed coffee and feel the cold, crisp air and the wind on my face. Thank you for my eyes that witnessed such a breathtaking morning sky and warm sunrise. Thank you for the majestic mountain landscape that I am blessed to witness. Thank you for candlelight and soft music. Thank you for friends who send links to videos that start my day with Amazing Grace.

I thank you that even before I have started praying, You have already called my name. You awakened me this morning so I could see the beautiful sunrise that You lifted gently above the mountains with Your spoken Word. It was good, Father. It was VERY GOOD!

You have really had my heart heavily focused on prejudice recently and awakened me this morning with a message for me on that very subject…the message…”We are all connected by Your Amazing Grace!” (W. Phipps, http://www.karmatube.org/videos.php?id=1312). How beautiful!

You made Your creation so beautiful…just for the human race to enjoy. You made every leaf on every tree unique! Even each tree is unique! You gave us leaves of different colors in fall and flowers of different shapes, sizes, and colors in the spring. How boring it would be if every flower was white and every leaf was green. What if the white flowers said to all the colored flowers, “wither and die because you are not as good as I am”? What if the leaves on the trees stayed green all the time? How much beauty we would miss. So it is with the human race. You have blessed us by making each of us unique. Yet, we are all jealous, envious, or hateful towards others. Why do we hate? We hate because of pride, envy, and jealousy…none of which is love.

Jesus was a Jew. The Jews have a heritage of slavery. The negro has a heritage of slavery. The Anglos have a heritage of enslaving. Slavery still exists today. It’s root is hate. ‘The irony…..those doing the enslaving are in bondage to their own fear and pride. What it all boils down to is that each of us is enslaved to sin.

We are all  in bondage at some point in our lives, whether it be to addiction, abuse, pride, jealousy, lust, hate, envy, or something else. I am so thankful, God, that You sent Your Son…Your Perfect, Holy, blameless Lamb…to sacrifice Himself to set us ALL free….Black, White, Jew, Asian, American, African, mixed and every other existing ethnicity. People are of one race. We are all the human race.  One. There is no man who is good. There is noman who is righteous. There is no man who is holy…apart from Jesus Christ. There is not one who is worthy to enter the presence of God…no black, no white, no Jew, no man, no woman. Apart from Christ we are all the same…sinners. In Christ we are all the same…sinners saved by Grace.

We are all worth dying for to Christ.  We all have equal access to Heaven because You look at our hearts. You only have to see the Son to deem us worthy to enter in. You don’t see our deeds. Either you see Him or you don’t.  When we repent, our sins are forgiven. We are washed clean.

You love us all the same. You offer salvation to the entire human race. How dare we accept Your undeserved Amazing Grace and deem another human being as unworthy? Father, forgive our prejudice. There is only one enemy and that is where our hate needs to be focused…against the enemy of God who deceives us into hating one another.  This is a terrible poison in the church body these days. I pray that you will eradicate this disease that kills our testimony of You. Oh, Father, convict our hearts and purge us of this sin that Your Name will be lifted up and You will be glorified in us.  May we each see one another like You do…through Christ.

Flavor Shot for Today:

Galatians 3:28
“There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ.”

To God be the glory! Amen

A great insightful blog on the Blanket Commandment and the Ten Commandments. Thanks for taking the time to post it. It really is all summed up with Love, and because God is Love, knowing and abiding in Christ is the only way to truly love one another. Thanks for the reminder. Without God’s love, as part of the fruit of the Spirit, we really have nothing to offer anyone. God bless you!
